INUPLAN’s mission or corporate philosophy is formulated in the following in order to secure that the company's philosophical and financial premises for the corporation’s operation develop in concurrence with the general political and technological development of the Greenlandic society.
After our office functioned as a branch office under the Danish company Nielsen & Rauschenberger Rådgivende Ingeniører since the middle of the 60's INUPLAN was created as a Greenlandic company in 1980 at the same time when Home Rule was introduced in Greenland.
The development since 1980 has enabled INUPLAN to manage all kinds of consulting assignments in the Greenlandic building and construction business. To the extent a specific solution requires special qualifications or needs extra resources these will be obtained in collaboration with other consultants.
The company is owned by employees who reside in Greenland. The proportion of employees born and raised in Greenland is comparable to the proportion in other Greenlandic workplaces at the same professional level.
INUPLAN’s company shall in the widest extent be based on the employees’ attachment to Greenland. By creating attractive employment conditions, e.g. by taking an active interest in developing the employee's professional qualifications INUPLAN aims to ensure a solid base for influence in the Greenlandic society.
INUPLAN’s primary market area is Greenland but our extensive professional network has made alliances with other consultants possible and as a result of this development we're able to take on projects outside Greenland as well.
It is estimated that it is not realistic within a foreseeable future to attain a considerable market share outside of Greenland. Momentarily the technological and market development in the arctic region is being followed and INUPLAN is open to the exchange of any technical knowhow in that area including the opportunities of a conception of a business connection.
The current service area includes technical advising on the most common building and constructing projects, such as house building supply constructions and infrastructural constructions.
It should be to an extent to find developmental and business related reasons to incorporate new service areas.
The limitation of our service areas will be adapted according to the actual market situation and will be reflected in our opportunities of our capacity and professional competence.
On a daily basis INUPLAN A/S will remain in its position as a consulting engineering company, which offers quality and economical sound solutions to the client. INUPLAN A/S will continually be privately owned company, primarily through the private stockholders who are active in the company. In doing so our foundation of freedom to act will be preserved and our impartialness to our business connections will remain the same.
We will be pursued to maintain the employees’ age distribution to be roughly even and through this make attachments to new employees with interest and options to carry on the company’s legacy.
Our capital administration will be made so that there is still maintained an economical base, which secures the company’s continuing development hereunder consolidation on key areas and development of new qualifications as well as timely adapt on recessive business areas.
The continuous planning of the company’s development is based upon our idea basis such as it is formulated above. By doing so it is secured that INUPLAN also in the future can be an attractive workplace as well as a great collaborator.
